About the book:
Universal Mind Revealed is a book that resulted from many years of digging into arcane sciences to find the answers to life’s toughest questions: Who am I? Where to I come from? where am I going? Why am I here? Universal Mind Revealed contains within it Kabbalistic knowledge to help the inner spirit of seekers in their search to know the concealed answers to these questions. It comprises a study of man in his relationship to the world of mind and to the physical world.
In this book, the meaning of the names and numbers in Genesis Chapter 5 are brought to light, not only in their verse context, but also in the way the names and numbers relate to each other. Revealing these is crucial because they connect stages of development in the universal mind, they express concepts, describe abstract ideas, attributes or qualities, properties of the mind, virtues, and they communicate universal mysteries and all the operations of the soul.
About the author:
Dr. Edna E. Craven teaches Kabbalah at Triangle Lodge—an affiliated body of the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis—in Dallas, Texas. Her background includes forty-six years of studies in mysticism and arcane sciences. She lives in Grand Prairie, Texas, and practices holistic medicine in Irving, Texas.

I live in Grand Prairie, Texas and have a Holistic Chiropractic & Wellness Center. My background also includes 47 years of studies in mysticism and arcane sciences. I am a member of the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis since 1968. This is a non-profit organization that teaches individuals how to achieve higher levels of consciousness through study and application of mystical principles. Also, I teach Kabbalah and have been writing for 8 years on the hidden wisdom of the Egyptians, which resulted in producing my book, “Universal Mind Revealed.”

Brief synopsis—Universal Mind Revealed is a Kabbalistic rendering of Genesis Chapter 5 of the Bible. The knowledge extracted from the Kabbalistic interpretation is pertinent to man knowing himself—his constitution, his powers, his consecutive degrees of growth in the evolution of his consciousness, within which rest his several faculties and virtues that are to be developed and realized for the progression of his soul. Universal Mind Revealed contained within it the long-established wisdom of the Egyptians, which help speed up humanity’s evolutionary processes.
How you came up with the title—Since Genesis Chapter 5 is about Adam developing his powers and endowing them to the human soul, and since the Kabbalah reveals that Adam is the Universal Mind, I thought it fits to name the book after my finding of who Adam is, hence, “Universal Mind Revealed.”

Are you working on a new book or project?
Indeed I am. My second book is a Kabbalistic rendering of Genesis Chapter 6 and it deals with the advent of diseases and the separation of the human soul from the physical body. It talks about the manifestation of a violent force whose purpose is to break the bonds of the physical body by putrefaction, which releases the soul from its physical encasement and reduces bodies to their elements.
What inspired to write this book?
Why do you think that this book will appeal to readers? Each chapter enumerates principles, laws, and powers of the mind that helps us understand how we can harness universal forces, attune ourselves with them and alter or control their ultimate effect upon us. It helps us understand how to arrange the affairs of our life so that we can use the forces of life as allies. It helps answer life toughest questions: Who are we? Where do we come from? Why are we here? And where are we going?
Kabbalah expertise
My expertise in the Kabbalah lies in my ability to interpret the original Hebrew words used to write the verses of the Book of Genesis. My ability developed from having closely studied the original Hebrew text for many years.
What is Kabbalah?
Literally, Kabbalah is an oral law given by word of mouth. It comes from the Hebrew word, which signifies that which is received, that which comes from elsewhere, that which is passed from hand to hand.
Hieroglyphically, Kabbalah is the oral transmissions of secret teachings, which gives direction to life, in a movement without terms (it never ends), and which is communicated in degrees (the teachings are not transmitted all at once.).
